Updating Lightroom Classic on a Mac
I take an almanac prepaid Adobe Creative Cloud Photography programme (i-year, prepaid). I apply a Mac.
My current Lightroom Classic version is 8.iv.1. This will not open .ORF files from the Olympus OM-D EM5 iii. I need version 9.0 at least.
When I check updates, it tells me that the update for Lightroom is 'not compatible'.
Is this considering of my Bone (Sierra 10.12.6)?
The current Adobe Converter won't work on my computer Os.
Since I am paying the money, I am entitled to the latest updates. How exercise I solve this trouble?

I'm not entirely sure of this for your organisation, but in the Adobe Artistic Cloud curl downwards to Lightroom Classic. Click on the dots at the right manus side and y'all will exist able to cull other versions. If you click on that, you should be able to try V9.x which is splendid and should work for you.

Electric current versions of Lr Classic crave at least 10.xiv. Simply there are also hardware requirements as well, then that might be something else that limits moving beyond v 8.

What browser are you using? I found out, the hard way, that Firefox does not piece of work for downloading Loftier Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina.
When you open a link for one of those OSes, using iTunes, iTunes is supposed to bring you to the appropriate "hidden" entry in the App Store. This works from Safari. If you open the link from Firefox, iTunes volition tell you that the item is not available in the App Store.
